The Fluid Fertilizer Foundation is proud to announce a new technology transfer channel. We will be presenting 30 minute webinars in three knowledge groups or series - Research, Agronomy and Operations. The Research series presents information from FFF sponsored research that influences proper nutrient management and crop production. The Agronomy series presents high impact information from a variety of experts that improve fluid nutrient use and efficiency. The Operations series presents best practices and tips on fertilizer plant safety, management, and operation. The webinars will be available on the FFF website after the event.

We had our first event Combining 4R Nutrient Management and Ecological Intensification to Advance Corn Production, with Jeff Coulter & Jeffrey A Vetsch Univ. of Minnesota on February 18th over Zoom. We cannot wait to continue to bring you more exciting content soon!

Greetings! We here at the FFF hope you are well and safe. Due to Covid-19, the Technology Workshop and the annual Fluid Forum will be held virtually this year. The Technology Workshop will be held live on a platform called Adobe Connect on December 15th, from 8-5. You will be able to find the link on our website www.fluidfertilizer.org as soon as we have it up and running; you will also be able to watch the recorded sessions on our website after that date. Cost this year is just $10 a CEU! Starter Fertilizer Boosts Late Planted Corn

It’s been a wild spring, there is no doubt. Cloudy, wet, cold conditions have kept many out of the fields. Growers should resist the notion that because they are planting late, they should cut back on starter fertilizer. That small amount of fertilizer is just what the corn crop needs to thrive until roots can explore more soil volume to collect water and nutrients. Researchers agreed.
