Day Three Update – Ice Storm Restoration Efforts
Today marks day three of our crews working alongside Blueridge Electric Coop to clear trees from power lines so linemen can safely continue restoring power to our community.
These conditions have been extremely challenging, but our tree crews and the linemen on the lines have remained focused, determined, and committed—often working long hours in dangerous weather—to get everyone back to normal as quickly and safely as possible. Their dedication does not go unnoticed.
We also want to extend a sincere thank you to our first responders and firemen, who worked tirelessly throughout the ice storm to ensure public safety and respond wherever they were needed. Your service and sacrifice mean more than words can express.
Once power has been fully restored and things are back to normal, we will be able to shift our focus back to helping our customers with their tree service needs. We truly appreciate everyone’s patience, understanding, and support during this time.
It takes a team effort to get through situations like this, and we are grateful for every individual playing a role in keeping our community safe. 💙
