A chance to see this boat at the Inner Harbor in Syracuse (west Fitzpatrick St, near aLoft Hotel) on Monday, 6/15 until 7 pm or all day on Tuesday (2-5 pm). Free Admission and really, a must-see for wooden boat fans.

Registrations are coming in and are slightly ahead. That kind of good news portends a successful show in Skaneateles this summer. That also suggests that getting Registrations in sooner than later is a good idea.
Remember, registrations (and dinner reservations for both the Friday Night Barbecue and the Saturday Awards Banquet) are honored in the order received.

What to do on a chilly weekend in the Northeast? Update your boat's history!
Make sure you check the letter of page 8 of RUDDER. ACBS Executive Director (Lora Nadolski) talks about updating boat information in the directory. It's a great tool, a good way to tell the story of your boat, and an important part of history.
If you're a member of ACBS, you can log in to the "Member's Only" section of ACBS.com and edit all of your information. (While there, make sure you check the "auto-renew box for your membership!)

The June issue of Brightwork, FLC's newsletter, is at the printer and should be in your mailbox soon.
Packed full of information, this magazine style newsletter is an exclusive benefit for members.
This quarter has information on Two Finger Lakes Boat Shows in Two Finger Lakes Villages, Safety Information, Featured Boats which will be at the 48th annual FLC show in Skaneateles, and John Abbett's discovery of another wooden boat (this time though, he didn't bring it home!
Don't forget - Registration is open for the July Shows of the Finger Lakes. Check websites for both the Wine Country Classic Boats chapter and the Finger Lakes Chapter of ACBS

The Finger Lakes Chapter is looking for a volunteer webmaster.
It's certainly not a a hugely time-consuming job, but is what you make of it.
Essentially, it is keeping the website fresh, managing the archived posts of all past newsletters (Brightwork), and keeping up to date the pending events.

Registration for the FLC Boat Show (July 24, 25 & 26) opened this morning, May 15. We already have registrants (two, by 6:30am!).
We do recommend registering online with the link below. And remember, registrations and reservations (for the barbecue and banquet) are honored in the order received.

Details of the 48th Annual Finger Lakes Chapter Antique and Classic Boat Show, are available on the chapter website, the Skaneateles Area Chamber Of Commerce web page or just email: [email protected].
This will be our 32nd year on the northern shores of Skaneateles Lake and in the heart of the village with the same name.
A beautiful town, worth a visit on its own rights, for sure - but why not come over either with or without a boat and visit this July?
Register beginning May 15 if you're bringing a boat. If you're not bringing a boat? Bring your family. It is a fun, free weekend and there's plenty to do in the Finger Lakes!
