In preparation for the expected severe weather, St. Bernard Parish Government is opening self-service sandbag sites starting today, July 16th at 10:30 AM.

𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:

📍Norman's Gym – 801 Community St., Arabi

📍Government Complex – 8201 W. Judge Perez Dr., Chalmette

📍St. Bernard Port – 100 Port Blvd, Chalmette

📍Meraux Fair Grounds OTB – 4242 E. Judge Perez Dr., Meraux

📍Fire Station #10 – 3901 Bayou Rd, Verret

Shovels will be provided, however residents should be prepared to fill and load their own sandbags. We ask that each household take no more than 12 sandbags.

We are saddened by the news of our dear friend and fellow small business owner in the loss of her father. We not only hold her dear to our hearts but we also hold veterans to the highest honors! Please take a moment to share and give the family a proper burial.

Yesterday, I lost my Dad "STEW"

What we thought the VA covered for cremation and burial they do not.
My father didn't have much but the love, laughs, and stories he would tell.
Stew served in the Navy that fought in Vietnam in 1972. Shortly after he was honorable discharged after becoming deaf due to war.

I will be raffling off TWO 1 hour sessions.
This could be used for a family, maternity, or milestone sessions with Juliet Castaneda Photography.
