Angie was born and raised in Cheshire, England and relocated to the USA with husband, Peter and their two young girls in January 1979. Prior to purchasing her decorating franchise in 1989, Angie had careers in banking, retail and advertising. During her retail years she was a counter manager for both Clinique and Estee Lauder. Many of those clients whose skin and faces she helped have gone on to b
ecome some of her best decorating clients. Husband, Peter had a long career in the International Chemical Business, primarily involved with the paper industry. He now works alongside Angie, mainly in the kitchen and bathroom remodeling side of the business. He also assists Angie in the office on the financial and marketing side of the business. Not the least of his duties is Vice President of Product Placement - aka- "Delivery Boy!!"
Peter & Angie are also the Regional Managers for Tidewater, Virginia for Decorating Den Interiors, helping other franchise owners from Fredricksburg to Charlottesville to Richmond, Hampton Roads and even down on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. An accompished designer, Angie has spent the last twenty plus years living the company bi-line of "Making The World More Beautiful - One Room At A Time." During this period she has received countless awards for both design and sales achievements. She has received decorating awards at both the Homerama and Parade of Homes Shows across Hampton Roads. Her work has been published both locally and nationally. At Decorating Den Interiors she is consistently within the Top 40 sales achievers and often within the Top 10. Her Lifetime Sales Volume puts her in the "All -Time" Top 20 Club. Continually striving to be the best, Angie constantly both attends and gives workshops and seminars. She also regularly travels to industry trade shows in High Point, Atlanta, Dallas, Las Vegas or wherever! Both Peter and Angie are committed to their local community. They are longtime members of Christ Episcopal Church in Smithfield, where both have served on the Vestry. Angie is a past Senior Warden and Peter recently served a term as the Treasurer. They also both serve on committees with the local Episcopal Diocese. Angie is an active member of the Smithfield Kiwanis Club, serving a term on the board and more recently as President. Peter is a Past Chairman of the Board for the Smithfield, Windsor and Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce. He is also a Past President of the Isle of Wight United Way Campaign. He is a (lapsed) member of the North Suffolk Rotary Club and was also in the Suffolk Lions Club, when the family first relocated to Virginia
