MATER! He found a home! Please visit him and Little Star Farm often. We can’t wait to see how he blossoms in his new spot!!! You guys rock for keeping the story alive and possibly the name!

We are excited to welcome Mater to the farm! Some of you may already know Mater from his previous home at the Red Wagon Nursery here in Smyrna. While the Red Wagon will be sorely missed in our community, we are glad to give Mater a new home but still right here in Smyrna on the farm. We'll be fixin' up the perfect spot for him. Thank you. Thank you all for the support over the years and the wonderful memories we have had while running Red Wagon Nursery. Thank you for the friendships we have made over the years, we got to see children grow and smiling faces return to us spring after spring.

Why the thank yous? Well, after much deliberation we have decided to close the nursery. Our last day in business will be tomorrow Friday, August 19th. We have sold most of the inventory, but please if you are in the area come by to say goodbye. We will miss you all but we are still a part of the community and will be in your small businesses doing business.

Our beloved little green house has been sold and will live again as a new business who we know you will love as much as you love us. The house will stand and be in careful hands, we made sure of that. Can’t announce what it will be but we promise no Starbucks or franchise that Smyrna does not need another of…..

Again, The Hytry Family is grateful of your generosity, support, community and friendship. We hope that all our plants and trees will live on to make the city and Rutherford county a more beautiful place.
