Brown's Cabinetry & Fixtures LLC We build cabinets, store fixtures, and custom furniture. Brad along with his wife Velva founded Brown's Cabinetry & Fixture LLC in 2007.

This business stemmed from a long time love of making custom furniture. For years Brad has built tables, television cabinets, as well as custom cabinets for his house and a few clients, but the demand was growing. Because the couple already owns and operates a home service company they knew that many home owners were looking to have custom bathrooms and kitchen cabinets in their houses. Brad saw t

hat opening a cabinet shop would be a wise business venture. The company started off doing smaller custom cabinet jobs, but quickly grew to doing large kitchens with intricate detail. The learning process or how to do special details on the jobs was quick, and the finished products had customers very pleased. The cabinet business grew dramatically, clients told their friends and family, who in turn told more people how great the products are. About a year after being in the cabinetry Brad learned of opportunities to build store fixtures, and was soon building showrooms for the Apparel Mart in Atlanta. This branch of the business has allowed Brad and Velva to travel to Italy, New York, and Alabama thus far, while sending fixtures to Las Vegas and an assortment of small cities. The decision of Brad and Velva to venture into the cabinet business has proven to be a horizon which is ever expanding.

Yesterday marked 25 years of the business. For those of you who don't know, Brad was a Chevrolet mechanic for years. He had always wanted to work for himself and restore all kinds of things. In June 2000, he began working on homes in the evenings, after working on cars, the Oscar Meyer Wiener Mobile, campers, and more during the day. On July 3, 2000, he was able to open Brown's Home Services and quit the Chevrolet dealership. God has blessed his endeavors. For several years, he ran Brown's Home Service, and then he started Brown's Cabinetry and Fixtures. Eventually, cabinets became the main, and only, business. Cabinets, built-ins, and displays have been built for executive offices, bathrooms in homes, kitchens, church remodels, SCAD, medical offices, basement kitchens, laundry room cabinets, and hair salons, along with numerous other types of cabinets. Through being self-employed, God has taught Brad, and us, how to trust Him more. God has sustained us, even through Covid. Brad, an introvert, has learned how to be more extroverted. The list of "owning your own business education" could go on and on, including machinery, business skills, life situations, keeping up with trends, and so on. We have been blessed with many wonderful people who work alongside Brad. We are thankful and know that God has been the one guiding this business.
