We’re going to start up game nights and such for people to start getting to know their neighbors in a virtual setting. It’s low stress way to say hey! And if you like to game, it’s a nice way to parallel play and meet more of our volunteer team~

Have you got a kiddo that could benefit from some school supplies? Well, we plan to help with that during our Back to School cookout on July 25th! That means it’s raffle time! And all you have to do to enter is engage with this post.

In order to host more of these events and feed our neighbors, we need your help. Each time we rent the community center is about $100, and we’re hoping to do some big holiday events this year so consider helping out if you can. If you can’t give financially no worries! We could use volunteers and people to help cook. Sometimes, spreading the word is help enough.

We’re also hoping to start raising funding for an eatery here in Soddy Daisy that serves all of our neighbors regardless of financial or dietary restrictions. So, if you’re ready for some new local cuisine there is all the more reason to consider donating! Want to get a taste of what that cuisine might look like? Come to a pop-up and see what Jess Meroney and Casia Gunner whip up!

Happy Monday!

Coming up on June 27th, we’re going to be at the Soddy Farmers Market with some simple sack lunches that are FREE to anyone with a need. Maybe you’re going through hard times. Maybe you just want to “penny pinch” for a larger goal. Whatever the reason everyone deserves a worry-free meal. So come out and see what your neighbors are crafting up and get a free sandwich while you’re at it!
