This weekend’s forecast calls for moderating temperatures and less humidity; perfect for garden visiting. Vibrant color daylilies are in abundance with blooms in all forms from mini to extra large, doubles to spiders. Visitors welcome Friday through Sunday 10 to 4. Note: the street sign for Parker Road was wiped out last week. Watch for the “Daylilies” arrow sign on the southeast corner of Parker Road and Route 83.

After six weeks of weeding and readying the garden, we are ready to welcome friends and blooms. A few extra early cultivars are in bloom and bloom scapes are popping up everywhere.

We have over 100 photos on display of cultivars available for sale this season. Opening Friday June 20th at 10 am. We accept cash and checks. Hope to see you!

The garden will be at peak bloom this week. A great time to visit and see the diversity that daylilies offer. Hundreds offered for sale. Hours are 10 to 4 Friday thru Sunday. We will be hosting the Connecticut Daylily Society on Sunday , July 14 so wait times may be longer between 11 and 2 on that day only.
