🏠 Why a Full Re-Deck Was Necessary on This Roof

During our roof inspection and tear-off process, we discovered extensive deterioration throughout the roof decking. Unfortunately, the existing decking had suffered from widespread rot and moisture damage, making it unable to properly support a new roofing system.

Rather than covering up the problem, we did what every homeowner deserves. We addressed it the right way. Our team removed all compromised decking and completed a full re-deck of the roof, providing a solid, secure foundation for the new roofing system.

To help prevent these issues from returning, we installed ice and water shield in all valleys and other vulnerable areas, creating an extra layer of protection against water intrusion. We then covered the entire roof with high-performance synthetic underlayment, which offers superior moisture protection and durability compared to traditional felt paper.

✅ Installed brand-new roof decking throughout
✅ Added ice and water shield in valleys for enhanced leak protection
✅ Installed synthetic underlayment across the entire roof
