April 1, 2026: Opening day of Fred's Greenhouse, 8AM-5PM daily except Sunday, 12-4PM. Come see the flowers. Cole crops (cabbage, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower) are ready. Tomatoes and peppers still need another week. Flowers are available - prices are the same as last year.

This will be our last year for the greenhouse, and it will close in June or July.

Fred's Landscaping will continue to serve your landscaping needs until he decides to retire. Call 618-669-1074 to set up an appointment.

Greenhouse is blooming. Veggies (tomatoes, peppers, etc.)are not ready quite yet but will be around Easter. We are open as of April 1. Cold garden plants are ready (Brussel sprouts, broccoli, cabbage and cauliflower)

As the greenhouse is starting to look full and seeds are germinating with garden 🥒🫑🥦and annual 🌸🌺🌻plants, it is also time to get your landscaping needs scheduled.

Fall is a great time to plant perrinials, bushes, trees. Of course the greenhouse is empty but we still have hostas, phlox, corabells, BoBo and limelight geranium bushes, astilbe, caladiums, some ornamental grasses, ferns, etc. Call before coming to assure we are home, afternoons best. 618-669-1074 home number in Sorento. We are closed today (Father’sDay). Greenhouse is empty. Hours changed to afternoons only as of June 16th from 1-5pm. Call to assure we are home or make appointment. Many perennials and bushes. If we do not have what you are looking for, we can get it. 618-669-1074.

Heating up in the greenhouse and not wanting to water couple times a day, so the annuals are buy one, get one!
