The use of WiFi jammers is becoming more commonplace now.

Those home DiY systems are cheap for a reason. (And the Vivint system in this case..that got knocked offline was not cheap).

Tech Profile: Evan

Evan is a well-rounded Senior Technician. Besides getting trained and certified in our various camera, alarm and access control systems; he is an artist, sculptor and designer. Evan creates conceptual designs and then makes it with 3D printer, wood, oils, whatever.

This picture is of a large outdoor table that Evan designed and made with his own hands for their lake house. He started with a rough slab of live-edge wood. Then superimposed a map of their lake and routed out the wood, matching the depths of the water throughout the lake. He wired in LED lighting, then cast it with an epoxy resin.
