STUDIO ENDO is a furniture and lighting design company committed to optimizing natural materials and creating transformative one-of-a-kind products. Inspired by bold yet refined design elements and materials, our work tells a story and reflects aesthetic principles of traditional and modern Japanese culture. MILES ENDO was born in Tokyo, Japan and grew up in Honolulu, HI. As the son of two interna

tionally recognized Taiko drummers, he gravitated to creative pursuits at an early age. Miles moved to New England to explore design under the Rhode Island School of Design's Industrial Design program, where he discovered a passion for working with a hands-on process. After graduating from RISD, Miles moved to New York City where he designed for the commercial furniture trade, but soon missed the studio environment. Miles' design process is ingrained in creating within a workshop, where he can truly understand materials and turn concepts and drawings into reality. In 2016, Miles had the great opportunity to be one of ten contestants on Season 2 of Ellen’s Design Challenge.

A couple years ago we met George Kelly of at a trade show here in Los Angeles, who was beyond excited to use our KRUOS Mirror at We worked with his team to design a custom solution in the middle of a central sink. It was a challenging but highly anticipated commercial project and we are happy to finally share the installation. 📷: Kelly Architects
