Repairing a rotten window sill with some new Spanish cedar. The wood was left over from another sill repair on a house of similar age but at least 100 miles away. Surprisingly they were the exact same length, dimensions and angle. I'm curious is think this is a coincidence or the result of early 19th century builders using the same plan book
