Job duties to include running rigging ropes for a climber, running equipment, cutting on the ground with a chainsaw, and chipping brush. We can train you, experience isn't necessary but a plus. Be part of a small local business and get to spend lots of time outside, often along the coast of Harpswell!

Must be at least 18 years old, have drivers license, and reliable transportation to Harpswell. Must be able to pass non CDL DOT physical.

This is hands down the biggest poplar we’ve ever removed. Estimated overall height was 115ft, and over 4 feet across at the root flare. How this tree was still standing is a mystery as it was split completely through the middle. Thanks to Double R Crane Services for another excellent job (and this photo. Thanks Mark!) Ben is about 6feet tall for reverence as to just how big this monster is.

Guess who got to work on site yesterday?! I got to get out of the office and onto the job site yesterday and had so much fun working with these guys. Thanks so much to Mark from Double R Crane Services for another safe and skilled day of crane operation. Always a pleasure working with you guys!

Ash trees originating from a quarantined area known to have emerald ash borers present were sold from Lowe’s stores in Maine.

The Emerald Ash Borer is a very invasive and destructive insect. Tracing these trees will help figure out the possible area that these beetles have spread to. If you purchased an ash tree from Lowe’s in Maine this year please contact the state ASAP.

Help us control the spread of this invasive and destructive bug.

Ben Stuart, Arborist LLC is looking for a full time employee. Job Entails assisting in removal and pruning of trees. You will be running ropes for a climber, operating equipment, and cleaning up debris from pruning and removal. Valid driver's license required. Recreational drug use is prohibited, must be able to comply with DOT regulations. Experience not required but must have basic knowledge of safe chainsaw operation.
