Well, it's been awhile! But this spring F.I.U llc will be open and running again doing our specialty of deck refinishing/redecking. We strive to give our customers the best possible price and deliver quality craftsmanship. Our deck-fence-porch refinishing is a 4 step process!
Step 1 - We come in and sand your deck down to a new wood surface, this gets rid of any rough areas OR Aunt Linda's dip she made for last summers Shindig! Also creates a perfect surface for the stain to be applied.
Step 2 - We powerwash all the dust & dirt so we're not just locking that stuff in with the stain. Fix any broken boards or railing
Step 3 - Apply 2 coats minimum to your decking surface with the color of your choice. Using sprayers if possible or rolling when needed. (Don't worry we plastic off everything to make sure your home doesn't get splashed or sprayed!)
Step 4 - The last step.... We get the heck outta your way so you can enjoy the entire summer on your old but new deck. Your neighbors will think you had new decking put in!

From start to finish another Sand n Seal in the books! This deck was quite large and took a bit longer than expected due to weather and wanting to make sure we stuck with manufacturers dry times etc. This was sanded down to a fresh wood surface with very little paint remaining. We powerwashed after & before doing multiple coats of Olympic Stains Maximum solid stain in Autumn brown and white for the railings.. this is one way of making your existing deck look great AND last years longer!
