Halls Pond Gardens

Halls Pond Gardens Halls Pond Gardens is a nursery specializing in hardy succulents and rock garden plants.

Visitors can stroll through the gardens finding inspiration among the plantings in and around the sculptural stone and rock walls. For almost two decades, Mark Brandhorst has been creating a mecca of gardens and stonework, including the cultivation of an abandoned barn foundation. Stone steps descend down revealing beautiful stone walls with succulents growing out of the rocks. A bridge connects t

he rock garden to the woodland gardens where small patches of delicate spring flowers bloom. The stones that adorn the gardens are home to Sempervivums and Sedums, a hardy variety of succulents that grow easily and adapt to a variety of conditions. These rock loving plants are primarily what are sold in the nursery along with other low growing perennials and sculptural stone containing various succulents.
