🗞️ Good news for homeowners with rooms that never seem to feel comfortable: Binder’s mini-split heat pump offer has been extended through July 31, 2026!

That means you still have time to save $500 instantly on qualifying mini-split heat pump systems with multiple indoor units or an air handler.

Mini-splits are a great solution for:
🔹 Bedrooms that run too hot (or too cold)
🔹 Finished basements
🔹 Additions and sunrooms
🔹 Older homes without ductwork
🔹 Garages, workshops, and bonus spaces

They’re quiet, efficient, and designed to give you better control over the spaces your main HVAC system may struggle to reach.

📞 Give us a call today (651-457-8781) to talk through your space and see if a mini-split heat pump is the right fit for your home. Just be sure to mention this special when scheduling your estimate.

Is your upstairs always too hot while the main floor feels just fine? 🥵

You’re not imagining it—and you’re definitely not alone. Uneven heating and cooling are among the most common comfort complaints in two-story homes across the Twin Cities.

Our latest blog breaks down how a zoned HVAC system can help solve hot and cold spots by giving different areas of your home their own temperature control.

We cover:
✔️ Why upstairs rooms get so warm
✔️ How HVAC zoning and zone dampers work
✔️ When a zoning retrofit makes sense
✔️ Why some newer homes may already be set up for zoning
✔️ Other options if zoning isn’t the right fit

Whether you live in an older St. Paul home or a newer two-story house in the suburbs, the right solution can make a big difference in everyday comfort.

📞 When you’re calling an HVAC company for the first time, the little things matter—a helpful voice on the phone, clear communication, honest pricing, and a technician who knows exactly what they’re doing.

That’s what Lori experienced when she called Binder for help replacing a section of threaded gas line pipe.

Thank you, Lori, for trusting Binder and for taking the time to share your experience. We’re grateful for the opportunity to help!

No, that's not snow you see flying around the neighborhood... 😲

🌳 With all those fluffy cottonwood seeds floating around lately—and your A/C working hard during this heat wave—it’s a good idea to take a quick look at your outdoor unit.

When cottonwood, grass clippings, leaves, and other debris build up around the condenser, it can block airflow and make your system work harder than it should.

If you see buildup on or around your outdoor unit, gently clear away debris, spray it down with a garden hose, and make sure there’s plenty of space for air to move through.

No shoveling required.

📞 And if your A/C still isn’t keeping up, give us a call at 651-457-8781.
We’ll take a look, explain what’s going on, and help get your system back on track.

If the filter looks dirty, swap it out. Yes... even when your furnace is taking a break! 😎

Your HVAC system still uses that filter when your A/C is running, and a dirty one can:
🔹 Restrict airflow
🔹 Make your system work harder
🔹 Raise energy bills
🔹 Circulate more dust and allergens through your home

Think of it as a quick summer kickoff task.
🧰 No toolbox required.
🪜 No ladder needed.
