New carriage house coming next summer, but equipment barn plagued with mud entering area. So new drainage ditch created. Next several loafs of 3” stone to finish. Doors also weren’t working due to dirt buildup. All cleared and working. The implement barn will be straightened next summer. .hill.vegetation

This oil pan rock had to go.🥹. The boulder was enormous proving to be more than Artemus could lift. But with a bit of finesse I was able to roll it out. The hole was cavernous this too was smoothed out with a much improved driveway.

Slope mowing @ Gilbert Hill Woodstock. Pictures never do justice on just how steep this slope represents, 28 - 35 degrees is steep. The last guy who did it the oil was coming out the back of his tractor. I side slope some of this too. Hadn’t been mowed in a bunch of years so plenty of poplar to mow through too. .hill.vegetation

Artemus, Sophia and I had a new task in Pawlet VT to clear a new homesite / pasture restoration. Land cleared with 300 stumps remaining. A project in the making. .hill.vegetation #

Last night my wallet was stolen. To everyone Apple AirTags work. I tracked my wallet through the night. This morning I went to a Rome Police Station who had the wallet. I identified it and its contents and it was returned less cash inside.
I have to thank also Georgia who was a wonderful woman I met who translated for me. Not all people are bad, there are good people with my wallet returned.
Thank you Georgia she own 3 Airbnb’s in Roma. We will be contacting her for another stay.hill.vegetation

More on today’s Snowmagedan. Most snow we have had in 2 years and add to it the wind was blowing causing a lot of drifting.

I had a rubber tracked machines and, excavator Takeuchi TB 260 nice machine. When the snow got deep and ice under her pads it was all stop. I ordered a full set of Mighty Grips made for rubber tracks. They were amazing. Snow ice were no issue. Fast forward I no longer have a rubber tracked machines and am now on steel and fitted with Ice Grips.
If you work in snow and ice and want great traction I have a full set of 12 or 14 looking for a new home. Retail they are $175 ea. I am selling for $150 ea or $2000 for all. .hill.vegetation
