👟 Comfort underfoot - You stand here for long stretches. Softer materials and cushioned underlayment matter more than people think.

💧 True waterproofing - Water resistant and waterproof are NOT the same thing. Know the difference before you buy.

- Running planks lengthwise (parallel to the longest wall) makes a room look longer and more open.

Hosting season is officially here and your dining room floors are about to work overtime. 🥂🌿

Here's something most people don't think about until it's too late: dining areas are one of the highest-wear zones in the entire home. Chair legs dragging back and forth, dropped utensils, spilled drinks, and foot traffic from every direction add up fast.

If you're updating your dining space, here's what to keep in mind:
✅ Hardwood looks stunning but can scratch from chair legs. Use felt pads religiously.
✅ Tile or stone is incredibly durable but can feel cold and hard underfoot during long gatherings.
