For me there is no better way to suck up to the boss than to make him a table for his office! He said he would like something reclaimed from materials in our laydown yard to use as a small conference table and I was able to rough together this top from an old wire spool and legs from discarded pallet materials. 100% reclaimed material…mission accomplished.

I have a young friend who found an old camping axe in his Grandfather’s garage. He became attached to it for sentimental reasons but it was super dull, about worn out and the axe head wouldn’t stay on. We decided to clean it up a bit and in the process, learn a few things about proper axe handling and care. I think the final result was cool enough to share! His exact words to me after we were finished were “Why would anyone throw something away when we can fix it and make it like new again? Restoring this axe is kind of like saving money!” - I couldn’t agree more!

A crew of individuals organized by a couple sweet friends brought about a change to the bedroom of a friend who was going to need a cozy place to rest. After coming home from an exhausting operation to remove cancer from the lymphatic and thyroid system she was welcomed to a dramatic new look.
