There are many different kinds of plastics that we all know are recyclable with RRRASOC, such as water bottles and milk jugs. But what should you do when you aren’t sure if it’s recyclable? Find the resin code!

Resin codes indicate the type of plastic an item is made out of ( #1- #7). At RRRASOC, we accept #1, #2, #4, #5, #6 (no expanded polystyrene foam – AKA Styrofoam), and #7 at curbside and at the recycling drop-off sites. To learn more, visit www.RRRASOC.org!

Reminder: Grass and leaves should be placed in a paper yard waste bag or trash can labeled with a yard waste sticker. Check locally for guidelines and limitations regarding bundling your branches.
