Cleaned and sealed a patio that we installed in 2018. Everything still looks perfect!

Behind the build. After demo we start with a 9” excavation. Then a soil separation fabric is installed followed by a 6” processed stone base. Base is everything! The pavers are then layed on exactly 1” of bedding sand. The work is not done. We install edge restraint to all the patio edges with 10” metal spikes. Then we sweep in the joints with polymeric sand. After compacting the pavers with a special pad, we sweep in the joints again. Finally we blow off the pavers to prevent hazing and wet it down. Done! This patio with last and be enjoyed for many years.

Just sharing one of our patio projects from last season. The custom step hides the customers well and still provides access for maintenance. Just one of the many challenges we often face when creating a dream backyard.

Just wanted to share some final photos of one of our favorite jobs of all time. Let us know what you guys think. Project was completed in 2023 then cleaned and sealed last season 2024.

Here’s another walkway done right. Six inches of processed stone base with soil separation fabric is installed. Pavers are then laid on just one inch of bedding sand.
