My least favorite ladder to replace is the 50-70’s vintage 2 section “swing down” model. Many of the ladders are longer than the current standard size, and can cause a problem for those who aren’t craftsmen. When Attic Butlers takes this problem on, we are able to modify the difference in a seamless/no further fuss manner. The result is a perfect install without having to bring in a separate sheetrock/painter when we’re done. The additional cost isn’t that great, but trying to find someone that is willing and able to come do a tiny job that like is almost impossible.

We revisited a prior lift installation to install a safety rail around the ladder access. When you have a solid ceiling construction, the drop from the attic floor to the first rung of the ladder can be up the 18” ’s. This creates an extremely unsafe situation for most people. Our safety rails will allow a very easy and safe grab zone to help navigate this danger.
