Small construction-based company is looking for an experienced and dependable Bookkeeper / Office Administrator to manage job scheduling, office administration, and full-cycle bookkeeping. This role also includes providing support to staff with coordinating pickups and day-to-day operational needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Office / Admin
•Scheduling jobs and coordinating timelines
•Staff time card tracking
•Supporting staff with picking up items/materials as needed (coordination & assistance)
•Keeping filing up to date (digital & paper)
•Preparing and maintaining business license requirements
•Keeping insurance policies up to date and completing reporting as required
Bookkeeping / Accounting
•Invoicing clients
•Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)
•Reconciling credit card and bank statements
•Cash flow tracking
•Payroll processing
•Job costing
•Sales tax preparation and reporting
401K prep support and payroll tax tasks
•Preparing books for accountant review (monthly + year-end taxes)
REQUIREMENTS
•Minimum 5 years experience in bookkeeping/office administration
•QuickBooks experience required
•Great communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
•Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
•Construction industry experience is an asset
•Spanish is an asset (not required)
