I splurged. I couldn’t help it. 7$ on Amazon for a single use measuring spoon. *gasp* Did I not learn anything from Alton Brown lol. In actuality, I make enough breads that having this is totally worth it.

Garden Drop!

We are still active outside of social media.

Tomatillos, tomatoes, pomegranate, wild flowers, lettuce bolting, and radishes bigger than my hand are just a few of things exploding in the garden at this time.

Most folks remember the jackalope as a joke.

But horned “rabbits” have shown up in stories long before souvenir shops—long enough to make you wonder if somebody actually saw something.

Turns out, there’s a real virus—Shope papilloma virus—that can cause horn-like growths on rabbits.

And here’s the part most people miss…
Rabbits used to be livestock. Not pets.

Somewhere along the way, “rabbit” became “bunny,” and folks started seeing them real different.

Ever seen something in the wild that made you question what you were looking at?

If you were a kid of the 1990s, you probably remember the Jackalope. A grinning, antlered rabbit hanging on the wall of a roadside shop or popping up in TV shows—part joke, part legend, and just be…

Carmen has been doing amazing. 9 of her own and fostering 2 others.

This is my favorite time. They no longer look like hippos or naked capybaras and start looking more like rabbits. Their colors are vibrant, and they don't scratch the tar out of you 🤣.

🥚🌾 Farm Fresh Eggs Are Back! 🌾🥚

We’ve got a surplus of eggs—more than what I can reasonably use— and that means limited dozens available each week.

Here’s how it works:

$5 per dozen – I supply the cartons.
$3 per dozen – You bring whatever you want to carry them home in. Bowls, baskets, your own cartons, hoodie pockets… I don’t judge. If it holds eggs, it works.

Washed or unwashed, let me know.

🚫 No deliveries.
📍 Front porch pick-up — or the fence post if you’re one of those night owls (or vampires) who prefer evening adventures.

💰 Venmo, CashApp, and Zelle accepted.

First come, first served — once they’re gone for the week, they’re gone.

Message or text me to claim yours! 🐓

Reminder: we're just off of Barneyville Rd near Chaservill Mall/Massee Post Rd. Just under 10 minutes from Lenox, Nashville, Sparks, and Adel.
