Beat the Upstate Heat: Don’t Let Your Attic Become a Heat Trap
It’s getting hot out there, and if your home is struggling to stay cool, the problem usually starts in the attic. We don’t just install insulation; we engineer a total thermodynamic solution to stop your attic from becoming a super-heated pressure cooker.
This week, we performed a complete forensic-style attic overhaul:
The Baseline: We started by removing all old, inefficient materials—shown in our first and third photos—to create a clean, sanitary foundation.
Targeted Airflow: To beat the heat, we engineered a custom-made box for the whole house fan and installed a solar gable fan to manage radiant heat load, seen in our second photo.
The Final Defense: We finished with high-performance R38 fiberglass blown-in insulation, as seen in our final photo, to properly decouple the space and keep your cool air inside.
Stop fighting your AC unit. Solve the thermodynamic imbalance at the source.
