Prerolled the siding because it was drier than a popcorn fart without a sip of coke. This siding is getting its first repaint, and it’s clear to me that it was spray finished and never back rolled the first time.
Prime coat
Spray and back roll topcoat (including soffits)
Second spray finish
Two coats on trim
Spray finish on man doors & garage door
Looks like a million bucks, this is what you want for your house and on any exterior project with porous siding. And if you’re not doing this as a painter, you’re ripping people off.
We are the best around & we are little choosy who we work for because we can, I like to sit down and have a cuppa tea with the folks I work for and get to know them. They’re not just a paycheck to me. I genuinely enjoy getting to meet members of my community and hear their story. Yesterday I sat in lawn chairs in the garage and played my banjo and told her stories of my grandfather, and she told me stories of her late husband. We both got a little gooey around the eyes. And you better believe I’m not leaving this place with a single touchup. Because I can take the time if I choose to.
