Hello my planty friends, Danielle here.
It is with a heavy heart that I announce we will be closing our shop space, and March will be our last month in business on Monroe.

It’s been an absolutely irreplaceable almost 4 years and I’m so grateful for each and every one of you.
All of the incredible vendors, customers, employees, and most importantly the friends I have made along the way.

A lot of small businesses are struggling so much right now, and that includes us. We are at a point where the right choice is to close the brick & mortar and continue the brand in fun & unique ways, including focusing more on in home and business plant consults, acquiring more weekly watering accounts, pop ups at other businesses, workshops, opening up shop online again, and more. I have a lot of ideas for what is next for us, and while we figure this all out I will appreciate the patience and love from afar in the coming months while we figure out how to pivot.

What does the next month look like for the shop?

In addition to Chopbuster being permanently closed effective immediately,

We will be closing for Wednesdays and our new hours will be THURSDAY-SUNDAY 12-6

Each week of March we will be putting plants on clearance raising the discount each week.

March 1-2 & 6-9 - ALL plants will be 20% off
March 13-16 - ALL plants will be 30% off
March 20-23- ALL plants will be 40% off
March 27-30 - ALL plants will be 50% off, and we will be trying to liquidate everything from furniture, to gently used grow lights, plant accessories, etc.

This was not an easy decision to come to terms with and we are heartbroken about having to go this route.
I’m all ears for any ideas on how we can keep Chop Shop alive, and I’ve been working with a few other businesses for some fun stuff this summer.

If you read down this far, again, thank YOU. For making this shop the incredible, safe, unique and community based space what it has been since June 2021, I will deeply miss the gasps when people walk in and marvel throughout, and the excited giggles on their way out. ❤️‍🩹

I love you all, this isn’t goodbye, this is a see you later.
