Planning for Spring 2027!

We spent the last couple of days in Coeur d’Alene with our NNBA group, shopping for next spring, discovering new products, and connecting with fellow garden center owners and our wonderful reps!

It’s always exciting to see what’s new, find fresh inspiration, and start planning for the upcoming season. We had a great time catching up with our garden community and can’t wait to bring some new things to Ritters for spring! 💚🌱

Come on Spokanites! Were better than this. Please help catch the person who did this, even if its your neighbor.

On the morning of August 29, somebody pulled into Valley Mission Park in Spokane Valley, Washington. That person took an old dog out of a white SUV and drove away.

A camera recorded it.

The dog was found in the parking lot, so thin that the spine and hip bones were showing. Animal protection officers said the dog was weak and had no body fat left. The old dog's name is Grayson.

This week the county's animal protection service, SCRAPS, asked the public for help. Officers are looking for a small or midsize white SUV and the person who took the dog out of it. Whoever left Grayson there could face a felony animal cruelty charge.

Grayson is with a foster family now. SCRAPS says the old dog is gaining weight and has started to play again.

If you recognize that SUV, SCRAPS in Spokane County wants to hear from you.
