The day started off great with a meeting, material run, and pressure washing a house. While I was just about wrapped up with pressure washing, I get a Level 3 evacuation notice on my phone near upriver. I start driving and realize I am getting pretty close to the fire. When I pulled up to my estimate, not only was the house pretty close to the fire but across the river.
Fire season is no joke in Spokane. I pray for everyone impacted and the first responders you don’t get enough praise for putting your life on the line! Thank you and stay safe everyone. 🙏🏼

7 years ago, I arrived in Spokane with very little certainty about what the future would hold. I was rebuilding my life after domestic violence, raising a very young daughter, and trying to find my footing in a city where I knew only a handful of people, if that many.
During that season, Vanessa Behan became a lifeline. While I worked full-time and navigated securing consistent childcare, they assisted by watching my daughter a couple of days each week. That support gave me the breathing room I needed to keep moving forward, provide for my daughter and begin building a new life for us.
Today, I had the privilege of attending their annual luncheon and fundraiser. Sitting in that room was a true full-circle moment. Years ago, I was a mother receiving support. Today, I’m in a position to give back through my time, commitment, and service to an organization that changes lives every single day.
There is something incredibly powerful about being able to support the very people who helped you during one of the most difficult seasons of your life. My heart is full of gratitude for the role they played in my journey, and I’m honored to now be part of helping other children and families find hope, stability, and support.

“4200 PSI was putting in WORK today. 💪🏼 While the crew enjoyed their paid federal holiday off today, I was out pressure washing a massive 4-story home to keep our schedule on track. Part of being a business owner is doing what you have to do behind the scenes to keep the wheels turning. She was an absolute doozy 😅 but we got it done. Happy Memorial Day🇺🇸

Last Friday was a BIG one.
I shared my testimony for the very first time on a platform at Kingdom Networking, surrounded by other Christ-based businesses—Yes, I was nervous as hell stepping into that. But I did it anyway… and would I do it again? Absolutely!
That same night, I had the honor of presenting the Male Choice Award at the Real Producers Gala 2026. From being emotionally vulnerable in the morning to standing on stage and then celebrating (and dancing a little) with some of Spokane’s top-producing realtors… it was a full-circle kind of day.
As I continue to grow in this business, I’m beyond grateful for the doors God keeps opening and the way He leads me without hesitation—even when it’s uncomfortable.

When you have clients, take care of you, you take care of them. Back in January, we finished a full interior repaint with Carrie. A few weeks go by and before you know it, we booked out and already repainted, nearly her entire cul-de-sac, including one on the corner of her house. Overtime and getting to know Carrie more, I couldn’t help but realize she has similar interest with me, so why not surprise her with a bag full of goodies!? PLUS, we will be back to repaint her exterior! ❤️

Starting off as a client and now friends - there's something special about trading in a contract for a friendship, especially over a batch of homemade almond Roca and real talk. It's a reminder that even in business, slowing down to connect with the people behind the projects is everything. Super grateful for these moments and what the future might hold.
