I just happen to look out the back window and see a couple of legs go behind the grape vines. This morning Tracy (our resident Momma deer) decided that she wanted to munch on our apple tree or at least she was between the apple tree and the peach tree and had a mouth full of leaves. 🤦🏾‍♂️

Lately it's been like the wild Kingdom on our farm. We have Tracy and her two babies (Mama deer and babies), there is a mama Fox and two adolescents, we have red tail hawks, there are skunks, and now there is a new bird in the air. For about a week there have been at least four of these birds in the area that aren't normally here and this morning was able to get one perched high up in the walnut tree next door. Did a quick search and came back as a Mississippi kite. Does anyone know for sure if this is what it is?

Last night while eating dinner, our daughter started talking about trying to eat a tablespoon of turmeric in water every day. Then Deidra Brown-Hall explained to her that it will not work that way and that it had to be combined with a fat and some crack pepper to reap the benefits of the turmeric. That made me think, "Wait a minute, we've talked about this before." And sure enough, Deidra had written about this back in 2018 and figured, why not reshare with you today!!
