What types of fencing do you provide? We provide residential, commercial, agricultural, industrial, and military grade fencing. Products include wood, vinyl, aluminum, steel, ornamental, chain link, composite, sound barrier,
and many more. These materials can be configured in a wide variety of styles and layouts. Fencing can be tailored to fit individual needs to include cages, pens, security, and control all while maintaining comfort, and elegance. Whatever your fencing needs we have something to fit your needs and budget. What is the process for getting a fence? The first step is the estimate. We will meet with you at your project site to discuss the fence layout, and your individual needs. Once we know the fence requirements, we will work up an estimated cost for your project with possible solutions. We will provide this cost estimate to you for free. Once a decision has been made, we will provide the needed materials for permits and HOA authorization. Upon authorization approval we will collect a material deposit. This deposit will be used to purchase the materials needed to complete the project. We will request that the materials be delivered directly to the job site. The delivery date provided by the suppliers will be the anticipated start date of the project. The construction phase will begin the day of or a few days following the material delivery. Upon completion of the project we will do a walk through with you to ensure your satisfaction. Upon completion we will collect the balance and provide you with a receipt and any warranty information that may pertain to the materials. Does my fence have a warranty? The warranty provided on the fence will depend upon the materials you select. We will honor any warranty provided by the manufacturer of the materials. Warranties provided by the suppliers generally do not cover labor. Labor is warrantied against improper installation and has a satisfaction guarantee. What forms of payment due you accept? We accept cash, checks, money orders, and debit/credit cards. Types of cards excepted are Discover, Visa and Master Card. Can I purchase my own materials, and have you install it? However, I must express caution. Used materials may not be serviceable. In addition, when constructing a new fence, it is a good practice to order more materials than necessary. This allows the crew to select through the materials to choose the better of the materials. Not having quality materials on site when necessary can result in extended installation times, and greater project costs. Can a fence be re-located to a different location? Yes, most fences can be re-located and reinstalled. There is always a percentage of the materials that will not be re-usable after being disassembled. An example of this is concrete. Do you repair fences? Yes, we can match all styles of work to make the repair look original. Can I make payments on a repair? Provisions must be made and agreed upon prior to the construction phase. Do you finance fences? We have connections with institutions willing to offer financing to those who qualify. Let us know how we can help. What are my fencing options on the military base? You have the choice to rent or purchase the fence. Why rent my fence? Whether you’re looking for a fence for a few weeks, months or years. Fence rental can save you money. Purchasing a fence can be expensive and requires a lot of money up front. Renting a fence is an inexpensive way to get the fence you need without the large cost. Rented fences come with an all-inclusive warranty. Repairs and services are made at no cost to the renter. In addition, when it comes time to move, we will remove the fence at no cost. If you purchase the fence service and removal is at additional costs. If I live on Base can I purchase my fence? Yes, the process for getting the fence is the same. The purchase price goes by the length of the fence multiplied by a set rate, we add for each gate and the additional amenities requested. Sales quotes are provided as a free service. What is the process to getting a fence? The first step is the initial consultation. We sill set up a time to estimate the fence. Our estimator will come to the residence and discuss your fencing options; This includes measuring the yard and establishing the layout of the fence. The purpose of the fence helps us to design the fence to custom fit your needs. The estimator will go over the rental agreement with you and mark the layout of the fence with white marking paint. There are 2 things we need to install your fence.
1. We will need your housing authority to approve the fence. We will provide you with the fence rental agreement which includes a drawing of the fence layout with respects to the surrounding structures and property lines. In addition, we provide the fence style and intent for installation and removal. This is provided to you for free. You will need to submit this to your housing authority for approval. They will need to sign and provide contact information on the approval form. Please have them e-mail us a copy of this approval. E-mail to [email protected]
2. We will contact locating services on your behalf to have any buried utility lines identified. This is a legal requirement throughout the State and on the Military Installation. If you live on the Military Base this service is provided by the department of Public Works (DPW). If you live off base this service is provided by 811. We request these services and receive correspondence through e-mail. These services require 3-7 days prior notice and will release communications when they have finished locating the buried utilities. DPW releases all dig permits on Friday afternoon. We will courtesy copy these communications to you to help keep you in the loop. When will my fence be installed? Once we have received the 2 things needed for fence installation. We will schedule the fence for the first available installation. We place all installation work orders in order geographically by subdivision. We begin installing the list Monday morning. Putting the list in geographical order by subdivision allows us to install the greatest number of yards each day. The crew is capable of installing between 4-8 Fences a day. There are a lot of factors that cannot be determined when estimating installation times. Factors like weather, equipment failure, etc. make it nearly impossible to determine a specific time for install; as each install itself takes a unique amount of time. Due to safety concerns we do not install fences in the wet conditions due to power tools and the electricity it takes to run them. Do I have to be home at the time of install? You do not have to be home during the time of install. We know your time is valuable. We will knock on the door upon arrival. If you do not answer they will proceed with the installation. You have a satisfaction guarantee on the fence. Please ensure you are happy with it and give us a call. When is my first payment due? The installation fee Is due on the date of installation. Your first months rent will be pro-rated. This will be combined with the following month’s invoice and will due the month following installation. Fences installed prior to the 15th of the month will only be billed for the second half of the month. Fences installed after the 15th will receive the rest of the month for free. Billing will resume the following month. You will receive an invoice in the mail printed each month after the invoices update for the following month. This invoice will serve as your receipt for payment and identifies when the next bill is due. What if my fence gets damaged or needs repair? Not a problem rental fences are repaired for free. Please contact the office to schedule repairs. Most repairs are completed within 3 business days of notification. There is no limit to the number of warranties or repairs. Please call or e-mail us if you have any issues with your fence. Can you automatically draft my payment? We can automatically draft your payment for you. We will keep your debit/credit card on file and draft your rents on the date or dates of your choosing. Is there a long-term contract or early termination fee? There is no long-term contract or early termination fees. It is just a month to month rental agreement. What is the process to have my fence removed? Please let us know with as much advance warning as possible when you would like to have the fence removed. We will remove the fence and fill in the holes that the fence caused from installation. Invoices must be paid in full at the time of removal. Can I keep the fence until my final inspection with housing? Housing requires the fence be removed prior to the final inspection and will charge you if it is not removed. Please schedule the removal for a few days prior to the final inspection. This allows us time if circumstances such as weather become an issue. Are there programs to help reduce my rent? Yes, we offer several programs to help make renting more affordable. Programs such as pre-paid, and referral. What is the referral program? Whenever you tell family, a friend, or a stranger to join with us we want to say thank you. For every referral that signs on as renter and identifies to us that you referred them. We will give you a referral credit (R1). This is a permanent discount off your current rents equal to $5.00. Every referral you get gives an additional $5.00 off. Eventually if you get enough referrals you can use the fence for free during your current stay in housing. Can I pre-pay? For every 5 months that is pre-paid you will receive a free month. Pre-pay a year and receive 2 free months. Pre-paid rents are non-refundable. Do you offer additional services other than fencing? In addition to fences we offer amenities to our fences. Things such as Tension Wire, Dog Runs, Self-Closing and Self Latching Gate systems, slats, banners and much more. We also offer additional services for people leaving military housing such as filling in holes caused by dogs, removing satellite dishes, dog p**p, and trash. What is Tension Wire? Tension wire is a wire placed along the bottom of the fence that keeps animals or people from forcing the fence up so that they can go under the fence. You can rent or purchase tension wire. What is a dog run? This is a separate area within the fence that can be set aside for pets, gardens, or kids. This usually requires an additional fence wall and gate and is at an additional cost. What is a Self-Closing/Self-Latching gate system? This is a specialized closer and latch on the gate. This will swing the gate closed and latch it when someone forgets to close the gate. Very helpful in keeping pets when you have children who leave the gate open. This service is at additional cost
What are the rules for fencing on the military installation? Rules for residential fencing can be found in the “Resident’s Responsibility Guide” This handout is available at the housing office. Our staff is proficient in the rules established within the guide and will help to ensure that your fence meets these standards. Do you rent different styles of fence? We rent chain link fences in sizes 4’, 5’ and 6’ tall. We also rent fences in silver and black. Can I rent to own my fence? We currently do not offer rent to own services. However, we can offer a purchase price reduced by a percentage based on the amount of time you have rented the fence. What if I am currently renting and want to purchase my fence? We will provide you with a purchase price. For each month you have rented the fence we discount the fence a percentage. What if I am relocating from one residence to another? We will handle the paperwork for you. Once you know your new address please let us know. The process is the same as getting the fence. We will relocate the fence for free.
