✨💫💚 FRIDAY TREE FUN 💚💫✨
Most of us know that being around trees feels good, but science shows it goes much deeper than that.🌳💚
Studies have found that patients recovering from surgery healed faster and needed less pain medication when they could see trees from their hospital rooms. Office workers with views of green spaces reported less stress, greater job satisfaction, and fewer health problems. Children who spend more time in nature show improved focus and concentration, and studies have shown reduced ADHD symptoms with regular “green time.” 🌳
Researchers have also discovered that spending time around trees can lower blood pressure, reduce cortisol (the body's stress hormone), improve mood, decrease anxiety, and help restore mental fatigue. One study found people performed 20% better on memory and attention tests after walking through an arboretum compared to walking down a busy city street.
Even more incredible, research from Portland, Oregon found that increased tree canopy around homes was linked to healthier birth outcomes, while a Dutch study found that living near more green space was associated with better overall health among senior citizens.
Trees clean our air, cool our neighborhoods, reduce noise, encourage outdoor activity, and create spaces where people can connect and recharge. They're not just part of our landscape—they're part of our health.🫶🏽
At Rose's Tree Care & Services, we're passionate about helping homeowners care for the trees that care for us.
