How to successfully conduct a field survey at 2-POV:
🚗 Drive to the location.
🪜 Do not fall off the roof when taking measurements (optional).
🌮 Have authentic tacos for lunch.
📋 Coordinate with the team, divide tasks, and finish up your checklist.
🐈 Pet the local kitties (this item is mandatory).
Jokes aside, there is plenty of coordination and syncing behind the scenes of every survey to make sure everything runs smoothly, accurately, and efficiently. It’s a great team-building exercise that builds real skills long after we pack up our gear. Bonding through surveying!

2025 has been a great year at 2POV! We want to thank our colleagues and clients for this year of collaboration and are looking forward to 2026! We strive to do our best every day, but we also like to have fun and build team camaraderie. We find our team-building outings are a good way to get to know our coworkers a little better as well as some of their hidden talents! Here is a recap of some of our outings from this past year including Axe Throwing, Bowling, and a Scavenger Hunt. See you in 2026!

Travel has a way of reframing how we see design. During a recent stay in Bolivia, a member of 2POV had the opportunity to experience this Gaudi-inspired home firsthand; a space where architecture is expressive, organic, and deeply intentional. From the sculptural exterior to the flowing staircase and carefully carved colorful skylight openings within, every element is designed to shape movement, light, and emotion. The home was designed by the same architect responsible for El Cristo de la Concordia (Christ of Peace), a 132ft statue sitting 9,317 ft above sea level atop San Pedro Hill in Cochabamba, a connection that adds quiet context to the project’s presence and scale. While our day-to-day work focuses largely on commercial and retail environments, moments like these remind us that strong design principles transcend program and scale. A bit of inspiration from the road, brought back into the work we do every day.

Recently, 2POV took part in a punch walk at Sunrise at Bluemont Park. Two of the three buildings are wrapping up their multi-year renovations and we think they are turning out great! Many thanks to the amazing team at Sunrise and the General Contractor Coastal Reconstruction Group, it has been wonderful working with you. 2POV is proud to have been a part of this project and looks to further collaboration.
