Just to remind everyone, although the soil is warmer earlier than normal now, we still wait until it gets to 50 for the first application of fertilizer and pre emergents. Cabgrass germinates at 55 degrees but has to be multiple days in a row. On average we always hope for the beginning of April.

Great time to spray for weeds with this spring like weather. Perennial weeds like Creeping Charlie and wild violets can spread fast, and quickly take over a yard. Give us a call at 402-960-4391. Licensed and insured for chemical applications.

We are getting close, but with the 2 week forecast it doesn't look like the ground temperature will climb much over the next week. Ground temperatures are currently at 40 degrees, 50 is the best time to start the first application for the season. There is still time to get on the schedule for 2023! Safe for children, pets, and apparently chickens!

Fall time is a great time to target hard to kill weeds, if we ever get the fall weather to move in 🤗. We will be finishing most of the 2nd round of fertilizing and spraying this week. Will be turning the focus to just spraying for the next month before the third round of fertilizer and grub preventative. We can do acreage settings, up to 10 acres.

Been tough this year working around the wind, but the second fertilizer app is 4 weeks away. Between now and then we will be spraying for broadleaf weeds. We always measure the exact square footage of the property when fertilizing or spraying, to know the exact amount of product to put down. Licensed and insured for chemical applications.

Ground temps are looking up! As of now we are planning on starting fertilizing application number 1 the week of April 4th. Don't let crabgrass be a problem this year, fight it before it germinates.

With these warmer days, we are getting closer to the first application. We won't be starting until the ground temperature gets to 50 degrees for at least 3 days. Pre emergent works by killing the seeds after they sprout, and they hit that barrier of herbicide. Best way to keep any crab grass/weeds from growing this season is to time the pre emergent with the germination of those weeds!
