Congratulations to Dan’s daughter Maddie for her graduation from Springfield High School!! While in school, she attended Capital Area Career Center in their Auto Department. Her next step is Lincoln Land Community College where she will be studying to become a Diesel Mechanic. 🧑‍🔧 🧰🚙 She also was awarded a full scholarship to LLCC!! 🏆

Maddie has worked part-time in our shop for two years now. She will continue to work part-time while she is in school!

🔟 years ago today, June 1st, Amy Deweese Peterson started with us. Yep, that’s me, the one behind all the social media posts! So, I get to make my 10 year anniversary post extra - I’m going to share those early pics up through the current. I’m usually the one taking the pics but occasionally I made it into a few!!

I started the day after we sold our business The Closet Guy, Inc. I thought I would help out my brother for a bit & then look for something different. I loved it & I stayed!!

Over the past 10 years I have been able to work with my sister-in-law, my nieces, my brothers, my dad, my son & lots of other great people along the way.

When I started I had 2 out of 3 kids who did not drive😆, now I have one married with 2 grandkids, another one engaged & youngest just getting ready to start her cosmetology career.

Over the past 10 years, I helped create our Hoodies for the Holidays program with Contact Ministries along with other community service projects over the years. I have represented us at the local The Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce, illinois_local, Local First Springfield events!

I was also able to work with LRS Web Solutions to create a web-site for us.

I’ve worked with thousands of homeowners, contractors & learn something every day in the business. I love getting to help customers/contractors get their projects completed!

I feel like I just started yesterday but when I look back at the pics, I definitely see the years go by…..cheers to me & 10 years 🥂
