Y’all, I swear I’m dealing with a rebellious teenager… except it’s a turkey. 😅

We give them everything. Treats. A wading pool. Unlimited garden time. A whole custom-built Cluckingham Palace to live in.

And what do they do?

Go climb up on the roof of the barn like we don’t do absolutely everything for them.

No appreciation. No gratitude. Just disrespect and questionable decisions.

At this point I’m ready to ground him… if I could catch him.

If you’ve never had it before, Cowboy Candy is candied jalapeños made with apple c***r vinegar, sugar, garlic, turmeric, mustard seed, and salt.

Well folks… we’re throwing in the towel on this year’s watermelon patch 🍉

Not sure if it was a bad batch of seeds, our sandy soil, or if it just wasn’t meant to be this season—but every single one has done the same thing. They’ll turn just a little pink inside, then go straight to mush and rot.

So instead of fighting a losing battle, we’re clearing the space, composting the vines, and letting nothing go to waste. The chickens, deer, and even the neighbor’s goats are about to get a pretty sweet treat out of it 😄

Don’t worry—we’re not giving up for good. We’ll be back at it next year… just with a different variety and a fresh start 🌱

Y’all… look at this tiny little fairy egg!! 🥹✨

We’ve had chickens for over a year and this is our first one we’ve found! I’m pretty sure it came from our youngest hen, Betty 🖤 (our Black Copper Maran) since she’s just starting to lay.

A “fairy egg” (or wind egg) is a teeny tiny egg, usually without a yolk, and totally normal when hens are just getting started.

I can’t get over how cute it is 🥰 Now I’m thinking it deserves a tiny breakfast… mini pancake and the world’s smallest strip of bacon 😂

We are officially SOLD OUT and now CLOSED for the weekend!

I can’t thank you enough for showing up, supporting us, and loving on our little farmstand the way you do. It truly means everything to our family.

We’ll be back open next weekend, and we can’t wait to do it all over again with y’all!

Y’all are gonna make me cry 😭

Travis & I were up until 2am last night baking and packaging, and I’m not gonna lie—it was a tough one. I got real close to tears. But we kept pushing and got it done… and WOW.

We made double the amount of bread and bagels this week, and I was so nervous it wouldn’t all sell. But here we are at 12:45 and y’all have almost completely SOLD US OUT.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. Seriously. Your support means more than I can even put into words.

We’ve got just a few things left:
• 1 loaf Garlic & Herb Sourdough
• 2-pack Plain Bagels
• Okra
• Pancake mixes
• Canned goods

Safe to say, we won’t be opening tomorrow. Once the last of the baked goods are gone, we’ll post and let y’all know we’re officially closed for the day ❤️
