As of 12:40 PM on March 16, 2025, the power is still out. The road from California Hot Springs to Ponderosa remains closed due to an avalanche. Stay safe out there, everyone!

Jute Netting (Erosion Control Netting)

Inspired by the great work done on Highway 190 some of our customers have recently been requesting us to install jute netting. Jute is a natural and biodegradable material renowned for its superior erosion control capabilities. Its long-lasting nature makes it suitable for prolonged use in various environmental conditions. This one we installed about a month ago is holding up well. Vegetation is growing through the netting and the netting is staying intact doing its job. Other erosion control options we can help with include french drains, swails, and retaining walls.
