Once again so lucky to work with such great customers. We had built these guys an outdoor pool 6 years ago and now we are working on building them an indoor pool as well. This pool is not quite done yet as we are waiting for them to finish the building. It will be a nice little lap pool 8’ x 40’ when done.

This was another pool we did this season. We are so fortunate to have such great customers. We built these guys a pool at another house about 10 years ago and they wanted one again at there new house.

Hiring for:
Swimming Pool Service Technician

Seasonal position from April through October

Previous pool service experience NOT required, but the ideal candidate is able to think logically, problem solve issues, have a general knowledge of trade work and working with their hands.

Pay starts at $16/hour and goes up based on work ethic, ability to pick up the trade, and eagerness to get the job done.

We provide reliable installation, service, & maintenance, along with weekly cleaning services for residential swimming pools.

Pool Service Technician Requirements:
• Driver’s License with a clean record.
• Reliable and hard working.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment.
• Ability to work in outside weather conditions.
• Professional appearance.
• Ability to interact with clients in a friendly and professional manner

We will provide the following training for the right candidate:
• Knowledge of swimming pool equipment, repairs, & maintenance.
• Knowledge of proper pool cleaning and maintenance methods.
• Knowledge of swimming pool chemicals and their properties.
• Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and equipment repairs.

Pool Service Technician Responsibilities:
• Driving the company vehicle to customer’s location.
• Maintaining equipment and chemical stock levels at store and in the vehicle.
• Testing swimming pool water pH, and chlorine levels, adding chemicals as needed.
• Installation of new pools, liners, auto covers, maintenance (including cleaning), and repairs of swimming pools.

Responsibilities
•Customer scheduling & inquiries
•Accounting (invoicing, accounts payable & receivable)
•Ordering & receiving
•Retail sales & Pool water chemistry
•Inventory management
•General cleaning
•Warehouse management- breaking down boxes, putting away orders, pulling order for next day

Skills
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
•QuickBooks Online experience a plus
•Computer skills
•Web-based scheduling and email services
•Supply management experience
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•English language proficiency
•Excellent time management
•Motivated, self-starter- able to prioritize
•Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
•Preferred knowledge of accounting, data and clerical practices and procedures

Education/Experience Requirements
•High school diploma (or equivalent)
•Willing to train the right candidate

Marlin always says that each pool he builds is his baby and he strives for perfection. 💦

He pours hours and hours of prep into each one and him and his crew work to ensure a quality product. I’m so proud of the job they do, and it’s fun to get out on the job site to experience the hard work they put into these builds!
