I LOVE that the geese sleep here. Cottleville!!! 😂🪿💚 When we drove by this morning, all we could see were endless little goose heads emerging from the grass — and of course my brain immediately went to philodendron leaves emerging. Like this Summer Glory is BEAUTIFUL. Her newest leaves are almost metallic, with one of those colors you can’t even really describe properly. I have ONE left at Juice EJ!

And I’m bringing about 70 plants in with me today. 😳🌿💚 Come see me 1–5 PM if you want to browse, bring me plant questions, or even have an animal friend you want me to take a look at. You know I love all of it. 😂

I’m also extra excited because a dear friend is bringing her older kiddo in today to pick up an introductory plant package! I had SO much fun putting it together — plants originating from different parts of the world, different textures, growth habits and personalities… basically a tiny global plant collection. 🌎🪴

AND look at one of my favorite plants tucked into my favorite #1513 Pot Pour. I’m not sure who created this particular one, but I LOVE it. 💚 Even better, 15% of Pot Pour proceeds go to SOSA, which makes these pieces that much more special.

🛁🌿 A BATH OF BEAUTIFUL POLLIES!!! 🌿🛁 My heart!!! 💜

These gorgeous girls arrived a day late and were soooo dry, so they came straight out of the boxes and into a nice rain shower. 💦 They definitely earned a little recovery break before heading to the shop!

These beauties are Alocasia ‘Polly’, often called African Mask Plants because of their beautiful, dramatic, shield-shaped leaves, deep green coloring, and bold silvery-white veins. Despite that common name, they aren’t actually from Africa — Alocasias originate in the tropical regions of Southeast Asia, and ‘Polly’ is a cultivated hybrid loved for giving you that huge jungle look in a more compact plant. 🌿✨

And at only $13 each… these are going to disappear FAST.

Who else loves moss?! 🌿💚 Especially long-fibered orchid moss — it feels SO good. Soft, springy, earthy… instant little forest vibes.

I’m prepping a bunch of tiny terrarium friends for the holidays, and I love building them in layers: a little small-granule LECA, horticultural charcoal, coco coir or a soil mix, then orchid moss as a topper. It creates such a cozy little environment for the plants to settle in and grow.

Honestly, everyone needs a tiny terrarium friend. They’re peaceful, low-key, adorable, and basically a miniature ecosystem sitting on your shelf. 🪴✨

To my new customer, Kenzie… I had SO much fun working with you today! 🪴❤️

She wandered around the corner looking for a cat-friendly plant and ready to begin her plant journey with her VERY FIRST one. EEEKKK! I got to help her choose it! 🥹

After talking through her options, we landed on two reddish friends—a gorgeous sun-stressed Hoya from our friends at Lori Smith … keeping it local and supporting another small business, and a beautiful Red Maranta. ❤️

And RED just keeps showing up lately… Red Marantas, Imperial Reds, our stunning Sun Red Philodendron we nursed back to health. Maybe it’s fall approaching and we’re starting to teeter into those warm ember colors of autumn. 🍂🔥

I also love what red represents: energy, passion, strength, courage, confidence and action.

And apparently the RED theme doesn’t stop with the plants. 🍓🏈
