🐍🌿 Powellii Snake Plants are here! 🌿🐍

Native to East Africa, Powellii is one of my favorite snake plants. Unlike some of the larger varieties, Powellii stays relatively compact while still developing beautiful patterned foliage and strong architectural shape. It’s a great option when you want the look of a mature snake plant without sacrificing a ton of space.

✨ Fun plant nerd fact: Snake plants use CAM photosynthesis, meaning they open their pores at night to conserve water—one of the reasons they’re so tough and easy to care for!

Just a few of the fun snake plant varieties currently hanging out in the shop:
💚 Powellii
💚 Table Mountain (Banthii/Starfish)
💚 Francisii
💚 Laurentii
💚 Zeylanica
💚 Pyramid
💚 Whale Fins
💚 Variegated Shark Fins
💚 Moonshines
💚 Mikados
💚 Blue Lavranos

Plus, I just restocked:
🌿 Neon Adansonii
🌿 One beautifully rooting Poonsin Pothos

These are just a few of the plant friends waiting for you today!

🌵✨ Fuzzy Monkey Tails are hereeeeeee! ✨🌵

These are one of those plants people ask me about over and over again… and for good reason. Native to the mountains of Bolivia, Monkey Tail Cactus (Cleistocactus colademononis) is famous for its long, cascading stems covered in soft, white “fur” that gives it its wild, monkey-tail appearance.

And the blooms? 😍 Absolutely stunning. Mature plants produce gorgeous bright red flowers that seem to burst right out of all that fluffy white fuzz.

They’re highly sought after, not always easy to find, and honestly one of the most unique hanging cacti you can add to a collection.

I brought in 4 total.
✨ 2 have already found homes.
✨ Only 2 remain.

💚 $82 each

Whether you’re a cactus collector or just love plants that make people stop and say, “What IS that?!” … this is one of those statement plants.

Syngonium chiapense 🌿✨

If I had to choose a favorite foliage plant, this friend is absolutely on the list. Right up there with Jade Satin Scindapsus.

There is something about this color that is hard to describe. I know it’s green… 🤣 but it’s deeper than green. Rich, moody, almost jade-like. Not flashy. Not variegated. Just stunning.

Native to the forests of Chiapas, Mexico, this climbing syngonium develops HUGE glossy leaves as it matures. Give it bright indirect light, a chunky mix, and something to climb, and she’ll reward you with rapid growth and giant jungle foliage.

Honestly, I don’t know why everyone doesn’t own one. They’re easy, beautiful, fast-growing, and have incredible presence. You don’t just see a mature Chiapense…

You feel her. 🌿😭

I have one left in the shoppe and more coming! Here is mine, along with a few inspiration photos showing just how magnificent these beauties can become. ✨💚

From baby Selloum philodendrons to big, lush, established statement plants… I’ve got you covered! 🌿✨

Native to the tropical regions of South America — especially Brazil, Bolivia, Paraguay, and Argentina — these jungle giants evolved beneath rainforest canopies where warmth, humidity, and filtered light help them thrive. In the wild, they can grow absolutely massive, creating dense, dramatic foliage layers in the forest understory.

Fun fact? “Philodendron” comes from Greek words meaning “tree lover,” because many species climb, crawl, or anchor themselves around trees in nature. Selloum/Hope types are known for their deeply lobed leaves that become more dramatic and intricate as they mature — those cuts and ruffles help tropical winds pass through the foliage without shredding giant leaves during storms. Nature is brilliant. 🌱

These friends are also incredible air movers indoors because of their huge surface area, and mature specimens can completely transform the energy of a room into something that feels lush, grounding, and alive.

Whether you want a tiny baby to grow with over years or an instant jungle centerpiece… come visit us at The Grow Table inside Juice EJ! 🌿🖤 -

These whale fins were absolutely busting out of their nursery pots, so I finally gave them the upgrade they deserved 🌿✨

I had to special order BIG nursery pots for these beauties — and carefully cut the old pots away strategically to avoid damaging those gorgeous root systems. I gently massaged the roots, selected either a 15, 17, or 22 gallon planter depending on the friend, then layered the bottoms with shells before filling them with a chunky blend of Fox Farm Ocean Forest, coarse perlite, regular perlite, and akadama for extra drainage and root health.

After repotting, they always get a thorough watering to help settle the substrate, activate root function, and support the movement of stored sugars and nutrients needed for new growth. Healthy roots = healthy plants 🌱

These whale fins (including variegated shark fins 😭💚), plus Powellii, blue lavranos, francisii, Mikado Fernwood, Mikado Ice, Spearmint, Whitney, Moonshine, Boncel, and more are all ready to be loved by one of you!

🚨 THEY ARRIVED. 🚨

The silver Spider-Man Amydriums from preorder are officially here and OH. MY. GOSHHHH!!! 😍🕷️✨

These stunning climbers are known for their dramatic silver veining and wild fenestrated foliage as they mature — and fun fact: Amydrium are part of the same family as Monstera, but many collectors consider them even more exotic looking because of their elongated leaves and metallic sheen. They LOVE to climb and transform beautifully over time. 🌿

We only have FOUR remaining from the preorder batch and once these are gone…
Also arriving with them:
🖤 Whitney Snake Plants
🦈 Variegated Shark Fin Sansevieria
🌿 Boncel friends
🌴 Selloum Philodendrons
…and SO many gorgeous new arrivals.

You seriously need to come see these in person. Photos do NOT do them justice. 😭✨

Raven Rose. 🖤🌸

She arrived in February as a single leaf… and look at her now. A stalk!!! Oh my gosh. My heart is SO happy. 🥹✨

This rare beauty is a variegated pink ZZ plant — a highly sought-after mutation of Zamioculcas zamiifolia, a species native to Eastern Africa known for surviving droughts, thriving through neglect, and quietly storing energy beneath the soil in thick rhizomes. They’re symbols of resilience, endurance, and slow but steady growth. And honestly? That feels fitting.

For months I’ve talked to her, sang to her, protected her, checked on her constantly, and loved on her like a tiny living treasure… and now she’s responding with new growth. That’s the magic of the plant hobby. 🌱

Not just collecting. Not just aesthetics. But witnessing life unfold in real time. Tiny victories. New leaves. Unexpected growth points. Blooms you waited months or years for. It teaches patience, nurturing, hope, consistency, and wonder.

And when a rare friend finally pushes out a new stalk after months of trust? It feels like the plant saying, “I’m happy here too.” 🩷🖤🩷🖤

Color… one of the most beautiful gifts we are given on our earthly journey is the ability to witness beauty in all its forms — color, pattern, texture, vibrancy. 💜🌿✨

Today has been full of little moments of life. Making signs. Taping boxes. Watering friends. Replanting tiny new babies for the shop. It’s a seizure day, and the gloomy weather always settles into my body a bit differently… but even still, I’m SO grateful.

Grateful to nurture living things.
Grateful to witness growth.
Grateful to experience an entire spectrum of color and life around me.

These tiny terrarium worlds and bright leaves feel like reminders that beauty continues to exist, even on the heavier days. And I’m thankful I get to share that beauty with all of you. 🌱🩷✨

Walking Snake Plants ✨ | Dracaena pinguicula
(formerly classified as Sansevieria pinguicula)

These ancient, architectural beauties are some of the coolest plants on the planet. Nicknamed “walking” snake plants because they slowly send out underground runners that pop up as new plants nearby — literally wandering across the soil over time. 🌿

Most belong to the Dracaena/Sansevieria family native to dry regions of Africa and Madagascar, which explains their sculptural forms, drought tolerance, and almost prehistoric energy. Some stay compact and stacked while others fan outward dramatically like living sea creatures or desert sculptures.

And yes… there’s now a stunning King Veitchii (Silverish banding, rippled texture, unreal form — they are truly one of those plants you stop and stare at for a minute.)
in the collection too. 👑 Florida ghost. Spiral cactus. HUNDREDS of new friends and plant mail arriving again today!!!

The Grow Table inside Juice EJ is becoming less of a plant corner and more of a living, evolving collection. Rare forms, textures, energy, stories. Come look slowly. Take them all in. 🌿✨ Come see all the babies, including these super cool walking snake littles! Coming Sunday!
