We’re sad to announce that we lost the matriarch of our family, the co founder of Welser Well Drilling, our Ma.
Susan Welser passed away peacefully in her sleep Monday morning. She will be missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.
We are thankful for all she was to us and her legacy will carry on.

This year has been a busy one and we’ve been lucky to have a really great young man working with us this year. Gavin has well drilling in his blood since his grandfather is a retired driller. Gavin approached Jim last spring wanting to learn the trade. And learn he did! Gavin has proven to be a hard worker and fast learner and we know that he will do great in whatever profession he chooses!

Just jumping on today to wish everyone a happy 2022! It’s been a very busy year and the drill rig is now all tucked away and resting for the winter. Jim will start drilling again after weight restrictions are lifted in the spring of 2022. We will still be taking care of our customers’ service needs over the winter.

I went with Jim to move the rig home from a job site this morning. He had one last thing to do so I waited in the truck. I sent a text and scrolled through some emails...then I looked up. I set my phone down and just soaked in the peace and serenity of this place. It’s been a busy and stress filled last few weeks and I needed this. I hope you all can find some peace and serenity in your day too. Sometimes you just have to sn**ch it up in minutes and even seconds.

Dropped the rig off yesterday so Jim could get at it first thing this morning. He’s happy to be back to serving his customers as usual and we thank everyone for their understanding during the time that we could only do emergency work.
