After fully supporting the porch awning, we could then remove the metal columns and send them off to be cleaned up & refinished.
Then came the repairs to the concrete porch. Any loose areas had to be fully removed and then the entire surface was cleaned. Once dry, we could then start the patch repairs and resurfacing process.
The next step was to attach the Pressure-Treated framing structure to the newly repaired concrete porch using specialty masonry fasteners.
And finally, it was time to add the new finish surface! Deckorators composite decking was used to cover the entire porch. After consulting with the client, we decided to go with their Vista Driftwood colorway!
