Small Engine & Fleet Mechanic
We’re looking for a dependable, hands-on mechanic to keep our equipment and trucks running safely and efficiently. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working on a wide variety of machines and takes pride in keeping a fleet organized, maintained, and ready to work every day.
You’ll be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, repairing, and tracking maintenance on everything from small engines to heavy-duty trucks.
Equipment You’ll Work On:
🔧 Chainsaws and small engines
🔧 Mini loaders and compact equipment
🔧 Pickup trucks and light-duty vehicles
🔧 Heavy-duty truck (Peterbilt dump truck)
🔧 Trailers and misc. jobsite equipment
No two days are the same.
Responsibilities:
➡️Perform routine maintenance and preventative service on all equipment and vehicles
➡️Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
➡️Complete repairs in-house whenever possible
➡️Keep accurate maintenance and service logs for all equipment
➡️Maintain shop organization and basic parts inventory
➡️Identify potential issues before they become major problems
➡️Help ensure the fleet is safe, reliable, and ready for daily operations
Ideal Candidate:
📌Experience with small engines and/or fleet vehicles
📌Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues independently
📌Comfortable working on a wide range of equipment
📌Organized and detail-oriented with record keeping
📌Reliable and self-motivated
📌Valid driver’s license required (CDL is a plus)
