As your delphiniums come up, remember if it’s a young plant thin to 3 shoots, as it gets older you can lead 5-7 shoots all potential flowers. Also this is a great time to feed we use tomato food, but you can use 10-10-10. Plant food that’s to high in nitrogen causes a delphinium stalk to become weak.
