Microlepia strigosa. Lace Fern.

Very hardy for the Houston area. Takes bright morning sun as well. Low maintenance and gets about 2’ tall. Slow spreader. Excellent landscape fern.

Has been down to 7f/-14c under freezing for at least 72 hours. High temperatures 109f/ 43c.

Originated in New Zealand and Australia.

Great house plant taking low light, low humidity and moderate water.

Can be grown out doors until winter it is not cold hardy.

American Royal fern. Osmunda regalis.

These beautiful ferns are native to Texas as well as most states in the US.

Can be grown in shade and in a more bog area can take a lot of sun.

Easy fern to grow. Once established mostly card free. Great addition to a native plant landscape.

For those that have asked on Playtcerium madagascariense. Get back with me. Other can contact me as well. For the ones that are a month or so from being ready.

I have a few that are in 4” pots that will be ready to go in a couple weeks.

Some have their fertile fronds already. Spore grown.
