As you can tell from the photo, the base was bigger than our mini skid steer. We had to cut it up into multiple smaller pieces just to load it. 🌳

Today we performed a deadwood trim, vine removal, and thinning on this very large Silver Maple. These are methods to assure longevity out of your beloved trees! 🌳

We encountered two birds nests and one actively being built squirrels nest. All wildlife remained undisturbed as we completed majority of trimming with handheld pruners and a manual handsaw, rather than a chainsaw.

Sometimes it’s about preservation and not the big scary removals. ❤️
