We want to take a moment to truly thank everyone who has stepped up so far to sponsor bikes for this year’s bike raffle.

Every bike that comes in is more than just a prize. It is a child’s smile, a summer memory, a little bit of freedom, and a reminder that this community still shows up for its kids in a big way.

We are still accepting bikes for the raffle, and we know many of you are still planning to bring one in. If you are able to get them to us sooner rather than later, it really helps us make the raffle even better. The sooner we have the bikes here, the easier it is for us to organize everything, match up boys’ and girls’ bikes when possible, and with the help of RMC Gardening and Landscaping we can make sure each bike is paired with the right helmet.

That is such an important part of this raffle, because it helps make sure the kids not only leave excited, but safe too.

The unfortunate price of Freedom comes at the cost of our courageous sons, daughters, mothers, fathers and good friends. Today we give thanks to our family and friends who have made the ultimate sacrifice defending our Freedom and Democracy all around the world. May the Lord bless them with eternal peace for their selfless service to our beautiful nation. Where ever you may find yourself today, whether it be a church or a family cookout, say a prayer or enjoy a little extra food and drink for the boys and girls who are no longer with us.
