Since commercial vehicles aren't allowed on the parkway, when you're involved in a substantial reconstruction project, you take full advantage of the opportunity to get some amazing photographs.

Case in point, it's been a LONG time since a LOVEN Ready Mix truck has rolled across the Viaduct near Grandfather Mountain so while construction is underway, we made sure to time it right and get some great photographs.

In the meantime, just pause, take a deep breath and enjoy the view 😎

What a pleasure it was to welcome Tennessee and First Lady Lee along with Johnson County Mayor Larry Potter and Commissioner of Agriculture Andy Holt to the Farm a few weeks ago.

Here's a short recap of their visit and tour of our farm in celebration of his America 250 tour. Thank you to Governor Lee and his entire team for taking the time to visit our farm, it's truly a remarkable place!

They don't get a lot of love, but our AST crew lead by Ronnie Roark are a faithful bunch, grinding it out on county backroads all over the state.

We managed to catch them in action just outside of Millers Creek last week. They're a stealthy bunch...they move fast and are on to the next job before most people know what's going on.

That's the way we like it. Great job team.

Our subsidiary Boone Concrete Supply put on a customer appreciation day recently and welcomed customers, suppliers and members of the community out to see some changes we've made and demo new products. We also held a raffle and some lucky attendees took home some great prizes.

Out with the old and in with the new. Before the fresh asphalt can go down, we've got to mill away the old road. Thanks to Delta Contracting for all their work on our Parkway Project.

This particular section of the parkway between Blowing Rock and Grandfather mountain is stunning.

Rather than roll out the red carpet, we welcomed Governor Bill Lee to the Farm 100% Maymead style 😉

Our mountain division was laying down a fresh mat along Roan Creek Rd, right in front of the farm just as the Governor arrived. What can we say, we're proud of what we do and the people who do it!
