We are deeply saddened to announce that we lost a valued member of the Timberline family, Nick Shaw, on January 17th.

Brett's dad, Nick, was more than just a part of our company—he was a steady and guiding presence, much like the logo he designed for Timberline 20 years ago. His influence helped shape who we are.

Nick dedicated his life to craftsmanship, family, and faith. His quiet strength left an impact on everyone he met. Through a lifetime of hard work, precision, and care, he built a legacy that will stand the test of time.

This photo is a reflection of who he was—standing beside Brett in front of a door Nick built with his own hands. Carved into it are the words "Vade in pace"—"Go in peace." Those words are a parting message to all who leave Brett’s home, a simple yet profound blessing of grace and protection. But more than that, they are a reflection of how Nick lived—steady, humble, and guided by the belief that a life well-lived is one of peace, kindness, and purpose.

Now, it is our message to him. As he is embraced in his eternal home, we are sure he carries the same grace and peace with him.

Vade in pace, Nick.
